Our history
Corporación de Asesores Jurídicos was founded in La Chorrera in 1991, on the idea of Leonel Amet Olmos Torres, attorney at law, together with another founding partner.
Our first office was a rented house on Avenida de Las Américas, in La Chorrera, across from Plaza 10 de Noviembre.
Our timeline
- The firm was born in La Chorrera and its legal status was created. Offering our legal services to clients in the area.
- Looking to expand our clientele, we moved to Panama City. We began to serve clients in different cases, however new clients always told us the same thing: are you the law firm that handles cases in La Chorrera?
- Due to the increasing number of cases in the area and a portfolio of loyal customers from the La Chorrera area who asked us to return, we moved back to Panama West, understanding the potential of the area and looking to grow with it.
- The practice made us specialize in corporate, business, labor and general advisory cases.
- CurrentlyWe continue to work for and for our customers, we incorporate technology into the way we work.
Why La Chorrera
Leonel Olmos has spent his whole life in La Chorrera: he was born and raised here. He saw the city's potential and wanted to establish the firm and grow here.
Why the name
For a long time, law firms were formed by joining the partners' surnames, and when the partners parted ways, the name was lost. We chose an institutional name so the firm can last over time, and so the attorneys who work with us feel at home under a name that represents all of us.
